The Flax of Reverie, an animation that I made in collaboration with Daniel O' Sullivan for Mothlite's debut album release on Southern records
The Cheapest Lunchbreak music video
Buildings, a playful sound animation that I made by manipulating photographs of various buildings around the world.
Untitled (working title Skull and Poppies). Using some of the imagery from The Flax of Reverie animation, I made this moving image of a deer skull being covered in poppies and then gradually being deconstructed. The movement responds to the arrthythmic inflection of the vocals recorded for The Silent Beef.
The House Monkey is the first of this series of animations. Very much inspired by Jan Svankmajer, it features a porcelain monkey being chased by fruit and various domestic objects of a masculine nature, while itself chasing a beautiful ukulele playing, female shot glass. Sexual frustration, fear of competition, unatainable goals and a sense of social incompetence are all explored.
